I recently noticed our site was entered by referal or spider from http://www.opt2.net/domres.shtml?www.webwormhole.com
I took a look at this and the was sort of intrigued by the concept. It seems you can park an unused domain name there and then promote your name and get it into search engines etc. What comes up under your domain name is a portal comprised of the DMOZ open directory project plus a ton of banner and other forms of adds. The latter being done to excess turned me off this site but the concept seems interesting if it was done on a basis that provided more benefit to the domain holder ie: share in banner revenue.
Has anyone come across anything similar?
