I've renewed my domain name with them and suddenly They locked the name!
Why?becouse they thought(!) it was a stolen credit card.

After they find out they were wrong -they said : a simple misunderstaning happened-they just asked me $15 more for putting it back into good state!

I paid the price and everything seemd to be normal for one day but
I -just for curiosity- filled a complain with bbb.org about this matter.

And now becouse of that complain they send me an email that we didnt recieved your previous permission our email has changed -which is wrong- please send it to this new address and becouse you have filled a complain we now require $200 not $15.

So what do you think?

I think the best thing consumer can do is not doing bussines with them.
And just remember never fill anything with bbb.org they just make things worse!

The concern over potential fraud I would understand but to lock down your account after a bbb complaint is not acceptable

beleieve me,now i am mostly sorry why i filled that complain!

becouse i could afford $15 more-although it was not fair-but now asking me $200 for a reason of complaining...

i think bbb must somehow assure peaple that filling complaing if not solving a problem wont couse any further problems!

anyway can i buy again my site after it expired-next year-or it will be forever gkgs?

Hi there, I've used gkg before just for one domain and had some small problems myself thus why I left them luckly able to transfer my domain along with me. You should call them which is what I did and let them know your angry about the situation. Let them know you'll contact ICANN after the call if they don't work with you on finding thr problem/resolving it. I had to call them and talk to them and was a bit scared after I felt like I was talking to a high school girl who was handling there whol support system...... a little scary but just show your points and hopefully you get your money and/or domain.
