Are you using it within a control panel, such as plesk? Perhaps it is out dated or a config issue?

Don't you have any other stat apps like AWSTATS or urchin? I just think webalizer is not accurate. Or maybe, I just can't bare to use their frontend.

Watch out when Google Anallytics (http://www.joomlahacks.com/content/view/136/121/) starts accepting new accounts. That's what i'm currently using, and it's a full featured analytics package.

I would recommend using AWSTATS it is more reliable. I would have your technical support look into it if you are really concerned. It could be some sort of glitch with installation.

DNS resolution is disabled (either purposely, or by misconfiguration) in the webalizer config. Reading the man pages, you can either repair this with the .conf file (assuming you have access), or if you have enough access to exec webalizer, you can inject DNS settings in VIA the command line.

Not too sure what the other posters in the thread are talking about, specifically "reliability" :rolleyes:.

I love AWSTATS and would recommend it. However, if I recall correctly you need the server admin to install it. Webaliser happily runs anywhere.

I've seen this country resolving issue but was not able (too lazy?) to fix it.
