What Do You Plan To Do With Your .US Names?

I'm going to develop JobBoard.US. Red, White, and Blue, Waving Flag logo, the works. It'll be free to post jobs. I'm thinking of modifying Vbulletin or PHPBB2 as the engine for the site.

I registered Occupations.US which seems similar to your idea except mine might will do more with consulting. I think a lot of people will go with the patriotic theme on their US pages. I think that alone may lend to the rise in popularity of US domains also despite the fact that it sounds better than .INFO, .BIZ, .NAME, .PRO, etc.

I still registerd a COM yesterday though for my hosting company. I own one .ORG and no .NETs

You can 't modify vBulletin, it's copyrighted.

Sure you can. You can mod and hack it all you like...they just won't give you any support if you run into trouble.

Where did you read this? vBulletin is licensed, not sold.

vBulletin even has their own hacking community http://www.vbulletin.org/

Maybe we can do a little cross promoting between JobBoard.US and Occupations.US? :)

I cannot buy them since I'm not in the US :bawling:
