Hey all,
I'm looking into server options at the moment for a large Retail company over here in England.
The server will be used to host an intranet website.
It will need to cope with an average of around 100 concurrent users, with 700 staff members (who will not be on at once). Probably will run RedHat Linux.

Anyone have an idea of the spec required for a server like that?

If you have a lot of budget, call IBM or Compaq..Sure they will be more happy to make an offer to you :D

If you would like to build your own, I would suggest at least:
Dual Xeon 800Mhz, Mainboard GX series, dual 36 Gigs SCSI hard drive, 1 Gig SDRAM.
