I searched for about an hour. Couldnt come up with exactly what i was looking for.

1: Can i change the way ensim looks, its appreance. Dosent really please me. (if possible, where can i download a skin etc)

2: Can i change the root directory via ensim. Its kind of long (www/varr/user/sgsafj/dfas/fsa/fa/af/dsaf), if you know what i mean.

It does not have skins in the CPanel sense. It does have the option to change the color theme and replace the logos with yours. However, the overall look and feel will remain. I know Ensim is working with developers to create skins for later releases.

The directories can not be changed without some serious overhaul. The way Enism has set up everything and virtualized things makes it the most secure CP that we have tested and run. It is a good trade off in our opinion.

you can have one way open to change look and feel of ensim which is not please by default.

ensim itself provides free theme named IRIS on download section of it.

you can change by making your own templates and putting it in

/var/www/html/appliance
/var/www/html/reseller
/var/www/html/site
/var/www/html/user

also for stylesheet

you can place your stylesheet.dtml to

/etc/appliance/customization/stylesheet.dtml

for review of original stylesheet you can go to /usr/lib/opcenter/base/common/

and find stylesheet.dtml for your information.

There's a few vendors out there that specifically sell skins for ensim, and a few free sources for them, as well. They aren't a *total* makeover of the system, but with some of them, it definitely looks decent.

Not sure about the root directory bit - I personally wouldn't - even if you find a mod to do so - it could hamper upgrades, etc.

Yes you can skin it - its extremelt customisable.

This is because of the chroot, its an excellent feature.

Look at the date of this thread. Sure, now there are skins. Even Ensim provides some. But last April, you were on your own.
