Hi,

I have this situation with Dreamweaver. I don't know how to tell Dreamweaver to put accented words as they are in Spanish, right now I have to proof my html files when I design in spanish because the code will embeed the acute sign on his own let's say I write down in spanish the word design, in Spanish is: diseņo if I go to the source code when I put that word in Dreamwever it will say: Diseño and even though in HTML is the same thing , unfortunatelly not for the search engines. It will not index my keyword as I intended.

My question is how to turn this option off in dreamweaver this is too much time consuming.

Hi,

Thanks this I just downloaded the trial version but is not straight forward to learn where to replace the acute instances, I would say that the program is just too expensive 169.00 price tag, on the other side I have to say that is a magnificent feature rich validator, but in my case I'm looking for something that just change the dreamweaver error, is there an open source solution?

if i am not mistaken, the codeview window in dreamweaver or "find and replace" text in source to replace text once you done with HTML editing should solve your problem.

Thanks for suggesting but in Spanish we have so many words that hav special accents that even the search and replace is too cumbersome I will have to do a search and replace for a lot of different words.
