I am currently a reseller for verio for domain registration. However they don't offer any type of customer sign up page... or a whois look up.

He is what I am looking for:

1.) I want to be able to have my customers fill out a form that will interface with my control panel that will do real time domain registration.

2.) Have a whois look up on my site.

3.) Also I would like my customer to be able to change and update their DNS, billing, administrative, contact information on my site.

How involved would this be? and Price range?

How do most companies manage this type of setup?

Thanks

1.) I want to be able to have my customers fill out a form that will interface with my control panel that will do real time domain registration. For this, you need to have your registrar to provide you the how-to instruction. 2.) Have a whois look up on my site. You can find many whois script in here: http://freshmeat.net.3.) Also I would like my customer to be able to change and update their DNS, billing, administrative, contact information on my site. This will be similar to no 1. How involved would this be? and Price range? We're using opensrs and there is no extra charge. How do most companies manage this type of setup? In house script or reseller interface. :)

Hope this helps :)

Enom are another reseller that give you access to an API from which you can do anything from your site (update dns records, renew, whois, etc).
