View Full Version : 800 number providers
GnomeyNewt 04-26-2002, 05:13 PM Hi,
Currently my 800 number has not been working, I am considering another provider. I only know of a few places (like qwest or at&t) who will charge me alot. Right now I am with a cheaper place, but the quality has gone down, so I need to find another provider.
Does anyone have any good suggestions?
:)
Do a quick search here and you'll find a few. There was a pretty good discussion on phone numbers a while back.
kall8.com
ureach.com
Others....
BMurtagh 04-26-2002, 07:04 PM if you find some cheap ones, let me know, thanks. i wonder if they'll let you split the 800 #, b/c my other partner is in canada and i'm in usa, hmm.

My current provider... lets you do that. You can select which phone numbers you want it to foward to. It will call one, than when they dont answer another one you have entered. You can even select what time to call which number.
Its nice I think, I called them to ask about the static and they said they would check up on it.
I still want to know my options! :c)
BMurtagh 04-26-2002, 09:49 PM who is your current provider i might check them out.
GnomeyNewt 04-26-2002, 09:54 PM I go through a reseller (i know I do)... There are tuns of these guys out there selling the same package.
My reseller... http://www.freedomvoice.com
Provider... http://www.smart800voicemail.com
I think you will notice that they are very cost effective, offering everything you would need!
GnomeyNewt 04-26-2002, 10:33 PM Found another provider in one of the old post...
http://ureach.com
TimPD 04-26-2002, 10:39 PM We currently use http://longdistance.com they're very good and if you want to add another number just call them. The staff is very friendly. We currently use them for all of our 1800 numbers there is a $1 fee a month for the number and plus the charges of calls that is all.
ureach.com has got to be the best, I suggest you use them if you want a first class phone system.
Jim
AH-Tina 04-27-2002, 04:27 PM We use ureach.com - good service, good price.

MadSkilage 04-27-2002, 05:22 PM I love ureach - really affordable and haven't regretted signing up w/ them for a moment. They also have a free trial, so you can test out the features without paying anything upfront.
ToastyX 04-27-2002, 09:12 PM I use Capsule Communications (capsulecom.com, signed up through cognigenld.com). I like the low rates, and with the autopay option, there's no monthly fees or minimums. They had everything setup within a week.
9onlinehost 04-27-2002, 11:08 PM we are a tollfree att partner and i would say go with att instead of qwest
we have had nothing but problems with qwest and i would not wish there service upon my worst enemy
att offers really good plans contact business sales and try and get set up into an all in one or a onenet account
and with att you can set up a feature where like you said your friend is in canada where say from 8-5 it would ring to your pots number and then rest of the day it would ring to him in canada
you will get some good sign on bonuses they are 5 dollars a month 4.5 cents billing and with your 1st toll free with them they give you 3 months free and 360 free minutes as the promo that is going on now
=)
so i would suggest att
@eggheadz.com 04-29-2002, 01:11 AM Try OneBox at www.onebox.com
They recently switched to pay services which Icludes dedicated TollFree #'s.
okihost 04-29-2002, 11:48 AM RSLCOM.COM .. They rock.. 5cents a minute and there support is great.. You would not know it from there site but give them a call and in 2 days you'll be rolling..

That seems rather nice :)
Santoman 04-29-2002, 03:55 PM Sorry for that Matt... I hadn't really thought of it as an affiliation thing, more of a "Hey Here's a good idea" thing.
I'll be good from now on...

IntraHost 05-02-2002, 11:52 AM I would suggest using Kall8.com or myown888.com.
myown888.com uses RSL com, its really quick and easy. You can also pair that with angel.com's service, which is pretty cool.
