I just tried to register a domain name with godaddy.com and found that when I got to the end it would not accept my credit card details (even though I know there is nothing wrong with them). The error it gave me was a code 2 error something about either the expiry date was incorrect (which it was not) or the address did not match the credit card address.

Now I am in Australia and obviously the card was issued here in Australia (VISA). Has anyone else experienced similar issues and worked out what the possible cause is.

I need to register my domain soon so that I can get a cheapo cyberwings account (for now at least) before they stop selling personal hosting accounts.

Sign up for the CW account now then and sort the domain out later. At signup with CW you dont have to have a domain, you fill a form on their site in once you have paid.
