Language issues can sometimes be frustrating however...
ZSIMark 12-13-2005, 10:15 PM My guess is he was from India. :P
niyogi 12-13-2005, 10:15 PM I believe that they were trying to use a dictionary or some translation service that got the spelling of the word in the original language wrong.
Still, just reading it is a brain twister!

I think you failed to read the original post carefully and assumed that the *operator* was from India when this post is indicating that the customer is international.
As far as the sentence structure - it could be from anywhere!

countrytyme 12-14-2005, 08:33 PM successful,
Maybe you should get someone in the UK to help decipher. The english that they learn in school in Europe is 'proper english', like the german or french that we learn (high german and not patois french).
Looks like someone is having problems trying to signup for hosting and they dont have a domain name.

We were able to figure out what the customer wanted after a little back and forth with her. She was going into the hospital for some time and wanted to make sure her account stayed up. There was one problem though....she wasn't hosted with us and we have no idea why she was contacting us.

utcrazy, you seems to be affected by the *Outsourcing*. Go to India and find a job there. Don't get frustrated.
MeaningfulLife 12-16-2005, 09:33 PM Well, I definitely would love to go to India someday. Traveling, seeing the culture, and enjoying the broken English (LOL) - that would be original for me. No pun intended =) Sometimes customers or we don't really communicating well too. I can tolerate that, anyway!...

My girlfriends friend went to India recently and said it was disgusting... garbage everywhere, smelled bad and just overall not a great experience.
That's just her opinion...

LOL... LOL.... LOL......... You make laugh. I wonder about your guys opinion. Is English an easy language to master or a hard one? Just wondering!
Thanks for the input about travelling to India. Nice to hear it =)

Why the hell they went there? When you go to India, you like to stay in 2$ hotel and expect it to be like Radisson or Hilton. Spent money and you will see another side of the coin. It depends on you what you want to see and how.
krieg05 12-20-2005, 01:52 PM I, once chatted with one of our clients from Guatemala.
And he asked wether if there's any of us understand Spanish.
When I said "NO" he just kept on talking in Spanish ??
eventually I had to use Babelfish/Google translator to understand what he was talking about. Which I found that he was also using that tools for english translation.
I think it was better for him to talk in spanish while I translate him with Google instead of having him talking with very..very..very... poor english. (not that I'm good with it tho) :P
