Hello everyone. My name is Chris Armstrong. I'm 18 and a senior in high school. I'm seeking a part-time job in the web hosting industry to learn more and hopefully earn some extra cash. I have previous Linux systems administration experience and I have extensive experience with game servers, mainly with HLDS.

Mainly I'm looking for a support position for a host of some sort (possibly a dedicated server provider), but I definitely want to consider any other job you may be able to offer. I'm seeking more experience in the industry and the opportunity to earn a little extra money.

I have an excellent grasp of the English language and am very responsible and professional. Please, if you have the time, take a gander at my resume and see if you'd be able to offer me a position with your company.

To view my resume, visit my website: http://www.ChrisArmstrong.org

My preferred methods of contact would be a reply to this thread, a PM on WHT, or an e-mail.

Thanks!

A full-time paid manager with CI Host? What made you leave that position? That sounds like an extremely promising career :)!

Definitely an impressive resume. I'm also interested in hearing the answer to Brendan's question.

Also, you are in my area of the world - I wouldn't mind setting up a meeting, to see if there is a potential use of your services for at least a consultation if you are interested.

Well, a full 40 hour work week for a 15 year old kid in high school, although very lucrative, made me unhappy. I was working with game servers, which I loved at the time, but it simply wasn't worth the stress.

Plexi_Hosting, I'm not sure what services I'd be able to provide, but I wouldn't mind meeting you in person. Let me know.
