boomed.com for sale. Someone is interested in buying it, so I figured I'd offer it to the masses to see what bids (if any), I'll get. To make a bid, please PM (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/private.php?s=&action=newmessage&userid=130) or email (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/member.php?s=&action=mailform&userid=130) only. I don't see the point of posting bids and I'd prefer to get them (if any, heh) via email/PM. Thanks for looking my little eggs! :D
Current bid: Just posted so none
The fine print:
Since I do have interest from other parties not on the forum, I can't guarantee that the high bidder here will get the domain. The highest bid from any source will get the domain (just so there are no misunderstandings).

Thats a good domain name there chicken, good lucj with the sale.
I think the reason some people like tohave people post replies is so that people can view the bids. This stops people from biddin if they have already been outbid. However a lot of these other people aren't on here often enough to keep an accurate "current bid" going, that I am sure you can do.
Sorry that I can't send you an offer, I am still working on that whole getting rich idea. :D

I'll update the first post with the highest offer (if any). I know domains don't exactly fly off the shelves here sp I'm not expecting millions o offers.
If you don't have a bid, would you kindly post what you'd sell it for, if it were your boomed?

Trying to think of uses....to answer your question, what I would sell it for....
boomed could be Boo Med for a scary doctor.
could be used for electronics store perhaps...i.e., boombox
could be used for web site promotion...as in business boomed....
love one word names...if one can find a specific use
So, I would say around $50, but the buyers would be quite limited...takes finding a person with enough imagination (certainly more than I showed above) to use it effectively.

Hmmm...
If I were into C4 and explosives or maybe just fireworks, I would probably pay up to $200.00.

It seems the interested party is in some way connected with sound, light, video, etc. systems for theater productions (though he says, "We will need the adress for a cultural non profit group, so as you might imagine we have not much budget left for the domain."
I'm not sure I buy that one though, as the person who wrote does some pretty major productions (abroad, not here in the U.S. however).
I dunno. The last one, slyde.com seemed to go ok (though I haven't gotten a check yet). I offered $600, they offered $500, and it was agreed (again, no check yet though so I'm not holding my breath).
OT: I have to explore those escrow services.

chicken,
i have used the services at escrow.com on a few occasions and I think the service is really great.
The escrow fee has been raised, it is now a minimum of US$18, but I reckon it is still worth it.
Plus they do specialise in domain name sales.
good luck with the sale.
