Has anyone here brought a rackmout server from interpromicro before? I would like to hear your experiences and comments on them. Any thing negative about them?

I am particular interested with this server. Any comment about the components? It seems to be a good deal too.

Lastly I noticed that Supermicro P4SBR support up to 3GB PC133/100 unbuffered SDRAM memory. "Unbuffered SDRAM memory", does that mean it doesnt support ECC ram. Is there difference between just sdram, ECC sdram and ECC registered sdram??

unbuffered means not registerd, buffer and ECC does not have anything to do with each other. You can get a registered ECC or unbuffered/unregistered ECC modules.

I don't have any personal experience with them (although I think I am the first to mention about them here in WHT). But I do know several people that get their servers from interpromicro and no major complaints so far. Good luck

I have had no problems with interpromicro. They delivered our 1u server on time, and exactly what was ordered. And Benson (our salesman) seemed to be more than willing to help over the phone with questions.

Interpro has been great with Web Hosting Network, we order a server, the next day its shipped

Bensen has helped us many times (in person at our NOC) with various stuff we needed to do like OS reinstalls etc

Fast servers, our dedicated customers love them

Andy and Bensen are great, very helpful people, so go for Interpro Micro.

The configuration you have quoted is quite good but I would prefer DDR-SDRAM or RAMBUS to PC133 SDRAM for a Pentium 4.

They are a relly good vendor. We host 6 or so servers that came them. All colo servers, and we never hear from the customers, so I assume they are performing well.

Bensen and crew work great, we have ordered numerious servers from them and have never been disappointed
