Hello WHT,

As some of you may be aware, three of your fellow members recently merged Web design businesses (http://www.equentity.com/news/press/2005_10_11_Industry_Experts_Launch_Equentity_LLC.php) and clients to form a new development company, Equentity LLC (http://www.equentity.com).

We specialize in traditional Web design and development (http://www.equentity.com/services/web_design_development.php), visual design (http://www.equentity.com/services/graphic_design.php), content writing and editing (http://www.equentity.com/services/content_writing_editing.php) and developmental search engine optimization (http://www.equentity.com/services/seo_search_engine_optimization.php).

We approach development a little differently than most design companies. While we are attentive to details when it comes to the actual development work, our primary focus with any Web project is always to impact our customers' bottom line, which we do in a number of different ways. We look for ways to increase traffic-to-sales conversion. We look for ways to extend the amount of time visitors spend on a site and we shore up areas where our clients find customers leaving their sites most often. We look for ways to have the impact necessary to capture the interest of visitors, but to do it as efficiently as possible so load times are not a deterent, and server-related costs are minimized.

We currently work with a diverse cross-section of businesses, organizations and individual clients. Some of our more recent work includes sites for DemoDemo (http://www.demodemo.com/), John Gasser and Sons Fine Jewelers (http://www.gasserjewelers.com/), Pinnacle Chiropractic (http://www.pinnaclechiro.com), Mangiamo! (http://www.mangiamotwinlakes.com/), the Canton/Stark County Convention and Visitors' Bureau (http://www.cantonstarkcvb.com/info/) and, of course, the International Web Developers Network (http://www.iwdn.net). Past clients with whom we remain an active vendor include the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, Global Issues Resource Center and Jeff Hawkins, the inventor and founder of the Palm Pilot and Palm Inc., for whom we've completed three Web projects to date. You can view a few rough concepts (http://www.equentity.com/devex/) we've tossed around for various projects as well.

We are not a budget design company. We focus on measurably improving our customers' businesses, and we quote according to the care, detail and impact we have in the areas most important to them. This is the first time we're promoting our services on WHT, and we would like to make the following offer. We normally quote our projects based on a $65US/hr. rate.

Between now and the end of 2005, any business represented on WHT who contracts with us will receive our services at $50/hr.

We'll talk about your business, talk about your needs, and talk about how you measure success and how we can impact it. Then, when you're ready, we'll deliver a proposal to you that will give you even more details about us, how we handle your projects, precisely what we're going to accomplish for you, the timeline to complete our work and an itemized quote that reflects the quality of work you'll receive from us.

Thank you very much to those of you who have contacted us recently with questions about our services. Our calendar is filling up fast for the next couple months, but if you think you might be looking at having work done down the road during the next year, it's never too early to do your research, and we still have a bit of room left for the rest of Dec. and January, just a little!

So please keep those questions coming! I've really enjoyed talking to some of you too. It's very nice to be able to put a voice with online personalities :)
