Hello Everyone,
What does it mean if your email is still working, you can ping your IP addresses but cannot access your web sites?

Does http:// need to be restarted? If so, how would you go about doing it?

Thanks so much in advance.

UPDATE____________________

I tried to restar apache but received the following error:

[root /root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart
Shutting down Web Service:
Setting up Web Service: Syntax error on line 397 of
/etc/httpd/conf/srm.conf:
Invalid command ''BrowserMatch'', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a
module not included in the server configuration
/usr/sbin/httpd

HELP PLEASE!!!!

I've seen stuff like this with RaQ's before. Try this:

As root

pico /etc/httpd/conf/srm.conf

Go down to line 397 and see if there is something missing or misspelled. If that command is giving errors, try putting a # in front of it.

You can try to reboot your raq...

I was getting the exact same problem last night, couldn't figure it at all. Noticed you (like I) also use cogent as an upstream provider and I understand they were having some equipment failure problems. Was supposed to be fixed today. Everything is alright for me now.

If you're still having problems I would suggest you contact your upstream provider for more specific info.
