I bought a template from him last week and have not been able to reach him... tried PM'ing, email, his website, all to no avail!!!

Since I first posted to see if anyone knew him, I received the following from another WHT user:

I bought a template from GoneLive about ten days ago. (I'm hoping we didn't buy the same one. :0) I had a VERY HARD TIME getting our template as well, and it was finally delivered unfinished after I asked the parent company for a refund. I sympathize with your situation.

After further discussions with this user, it turns out we were both sold the EXACT template!!! All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!! Just because someone posts a decent looking template on this board, don't assume they're legit!

Make sure you get your product BEFORE making payment. If not, you're basically screwed unless the payment processor is willing to work with you. I'll remember that.

STAY AWAY FROM GONELIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Brandon Armstead strikes again.

He's been posting here under too many names to count.

*editted comment since i didn't know the story of what was going on - there's another thread about this in between the 'designer' and buyer*

ask for a refund... if not...

hope you guys used a method of payment that has the ability to do a chargeback or whatever...

hmm.. this is really too bad... I hope things like this don't continue... You said above make sure that you receive your product before paying, well thats not going to go over well with designers. In the majority of business transactions you must pay before receiving the product, and it will be hard to convince people to throw themselves at your mercy...
Is there anyway to prosecute people that do things like this Gonelive?

There is currently an exchange of words going on in the Related Offers board. It has GONELIVE's responses to the charge:

Yes, we're aware of this and he will be posting under one username from now on (action pending).

Oh, god! I hope you're not cracking down on multiple usernames! :(

A maximum of one account per person, regardless of how many companies you represent. Also if your company is represented by more than one person only one ad per 5 days may be posted in the advertising forums regarding your companies, sub-companies or associated companies.

When you draw attention to yourself by making people unhappy with your services and by posting ads under all the different names at the same time (trying to get around the 5 -day rule), then yes, we crack down on it with a bit more enthusiasm.
