I'm looking for a company to assist me in managing a server: setting up, hardening and occasionally applying security patches when needed. I won't need anything else from them, as I'm reasonably familiar with Linux and server technologies myself (that is, I can write my own backup scripts and configure Apache and the like). Any recommendations? Platinumservermanagement seems to be popular here, but I'd rather not have a control panel, and I'd prefer Debian. But that's both negotiable.

They are not cheap, and I'm not sure they would support Debian, but they are well worth the money.

you might want to just hire someone on an as needed basis like serverwizards offers low rates for individual jobs
