Hi guys,

I have Quake 1, and am tring to play multiplayer, but using the program GameSpy. But when I double click a server to play on, it launches the Q app just fine, but when it attempts to connect, it doesn't finish. :( It just keeps trying, and trying, and tring forever. My friend has no problem in doing this, but I do. :( I am using AOL 7 for my ISP, and he is using a local ISP.

why not upgrade to quake 3 ? or unreal ?

the first quake i actually had experience with was Quake 2 - got addicted to it during early high school i think hehe

Yes I agree, both are great. I've played the demos, but have not yet downloaded them from KaZaA. ;) Yeah, maybe I should forget about Q1 and get hip with the newer versions, hehe! :D
