View Full Version : I am up to 300 posts already.. do I have a problem?
TheException 04-25-2002, 05:00 AM Is there still hope for me, or am I going to get sucked in like the rest of you avid WHTers?
Are there many other people out there around the same number of posts as me?

Have a look here (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/memberlist.php?s=&what=topposters&perpage=25).
Lats...
akashik 04-25-2002, 05:39 AM wow, haven't seen that page in a while. Lots of people over 1000 now...
Erm and no you don't have a 'real' problem yet. You still enjoy the drug, and can get off it if you try. :)

Tim Greer 04-25-2002, 05:43 AM I'm just trying to come up with a reasonable excuse of why I'm in the top 25 posters -- I mean, besides the "lack of life" and "likes to rant like a lunatic about nothing and just generally type a lot". *pause* Nope, nothing.

Yeah, but he just signed up not too long ago. After all, he's still got plenty time to burn out. I have posted here 20 to 40 times in a single day, but then I get bored and sometimes don't post for a few months. Give him time, he'll learn to be more discouraged. :-)

Yes, we still have time to make him snap.

Oh my. I seem to be in the top 10 now. And there I was, six months ago, thinking that I'd be posting less often now that I'm "busy" at Oxford working on my DPhil.
I really need to get out more.
MotleyFool 04-25-2002, 08:37 AM 9000+ posts by Chicken!
Rooster you need to get a life bud! ;)

:stickout Once upon a time I was at 16.
I've slowed considerably since.
Not that the magic has faded. But I actually 'do' have a life beyond here.

I think you'd be at the top of the list if you limited your posts to 500 words or less. :D
Well, okay . . . . . 50.
*Not that you should 'do' that.
DanielP 04-25-2002, 01:05 PM awww shucks.. i'm 4 pages deep... o well better start a posting frenzy to get my count up :stickout

You are all right.. and if I keep up my posting habits, then I will be joining you people on the first and second pages before too long...
Maybe I should spend more time outside.... I know, I'll get a laptop with wireless internet access, then I can go outside!
Incognito 04-25-2002, 02:01 PM So...maybe Tim gets most prolific typist award?
9onlinehost 04-25-2002, 02:03 PM i think its about time you start looking for a sponsor and doing your steps
TheException 04-25-2002, 02:05 PM Sponsor? Steps?

Are there many other people out there around the same number of posts as me? You've officially been sucked in.
DanielP 04-25-2002, 08:55 PM Heh, its not fair..... I don't have a life and i'm not on the front page :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: i just work 2 much i guess... o well one more post on the heap.....

Bullschmidt 04-26-2002, 01:03 AM If you start a thread with a subject of "I am up to 300 posts already.. do I have a problem" then I am bound to believe the question is rhetorical and that you already know the answer. In other words the picture isn't pretty! (just kidding)
;)

Edit: I just realized I brought up my posts per day today... I think I got about 20 in this time...
Bullschmidt 04-26-2002, 02:56 AM TheException,
OK the talk about posts per day got me to check your profile.
You registered here on April Fools Day of THIS YEAR and you're already over 300 - that IS rather prolific, impressive, etc... (there, now do you feel better?)
;)
Im just a punk on this board lol:D
TheException 04-26-2002, 05:14 PM oops... On my last post here I pressed quote instead of edit... I guess thats what happens when you are on the boards a 2 am...
Bullschmidt, thanks, I needed that :)
akashik 04-26-2002, 11:08 PM I think it's a little more horrifying when you start to get onto the front page of that list with a low post count:
akashik - 2404 (3.93 posts per day) :)
