I'm looking for a host that will run my databases made with Ultradev.
does anyone know of any hosts offering:
over 10 megs of space
mysql or that supports a different database
ASP or coldfusion 4
cgi-bin
domain hosting
for $10/month or under or a free server to test my scripts on first
p.s does anyone currently use ultradev on this forum?
thanx in advance :)

Macromedia Dreaweaver Ultradev is a what you see what you get program that actually codes application. Let's say you want to make a search page with a database, you can build it in ten minutes without programming knowledge. It's really a good program.

But I can't be bothered developing any of it. I've got better nothings to do.

http://www.cedant.com is about $12 a month. They are pretty good and I think they have all the features you are after. The only one that isn't in my control panel is ASP.
You could try the freebies of Yahoo etc ?
Hope this helps.
Stephen.
The only problem with ultradev is the choice of languages you can have it script in. In my experience thats ASP, ASP or ASP.

Now if they would only make a program that writes web pages... *that* would be money in the bank.
I mean, body... end body? -what's that all about, eh?

And now I remind myself NOT to fall into the tangent trap (seems to be a virus spread by goat meat which is cut by a certain knife lately?), and wonder if brinkster is still around? They used to offer small free ASP accounts for testing purposes. Or that cystaltech place?
*not all that handy with the URLs of these ASP hosts, I apologize*
Brinkster (http://www.brinkster.com) is still around and going strong, though a few less features than a few months.
