Stay away from FeaturePrice!

They offer a 30-day money back guarantee - but ignore you when you request a refund.

I've spoken with their technical supervisor, who agrees that the FeaturePrice website offers something that IS NOT available. He agrees that the online documentation is wrong.

So, when I requested a refund because I was misled, they claim I do not have a valid reason. They are completely ignoring me (taking up to 5 days to respond to emails), so I have no choice but to vent my frustration on this forum!

Also, according to the Better Business Bureau, they have an UNSATISFACTORY rating!

Stay away!

Tell that to your credit card company and start charge back proceedings - Let featureprice know what you are doing first... I'll bet those 5 day email response times come down :)

Thanks dotcomsnz,

Can you tell me what a credit card chargeback is?

I've never heard of it, but I'm willing to try anything!

Thanks for your help.

***********

I've been hearing that FeaturePrice has been severely attacked by hackers in recent months. For example, they tell me that I cannot use FrontPage "Publish Web" command because of these hacker attacks.

I bet I know who all these hackers are - former, disgruntled FeaturePrice users who are looking for revenge!!!

ha ha ha

You need to contact your credit card co (issuing bank)
and advise them.
Its called a chargeback... when "services are not rendered"
when nothing else works...contact your cc co.
Good Luck

Thanks for all your help.

I have contacted my credit card company and they started the chargeback process.

They will investigate and in the meanwhile, they have suspended the total amount.

Does anybody have experience with chargebacks? Do they work well???

Well, the chargeback generally falls through, and the CC processing company for Featureprice will usually charge them a chargeback fee that can range anything from $5 to $20 per incident.

Maybe they'll try to dispute the charge, but most of the time, you will get your money back, and they will have to swallow the fees incurred as well. :)
