I've been looking for web hosting with JSP capabilities. What has been tricky about our needs is that we also have multiple domain names, but we want one to three accounts, not 10! Some of our domains are pretty small.

We've had a multiple domain account at XO (formerly 9Net) but this is no longer being offered to their customers. We're "grandfathered" indefinately with our account but have not been happy with XO/9Net's service for quite some time.

Internally, we are going strongly towards JSP, so when searching for a new provider I wanted to locate one that was offering that capability.

I would have gone with FutureQuest in a heartbeat because of their excellent customer service reputation (ha, ha, coming from 9Net/XO, FutureQuest appears to be fantastic in that respect). but they don't really have things nailed down with JSP yet. They're planning on using TomCat, but not offering JSP yet. Not only that, but their number of domains per account limitations means that we'll have to do some juggling to get a good "fit."

So, I've been searching long and heard for providers with both JSP and open to multiple domain hosting on an account. I've come across MMA (http://www.mmaweb.net). There are some good user comments on one of the Java newsgroups but I haven't dug up anything else. Anyone else have some experiences to share about them?

Thanks!

I really support the fact that you are using JSP. This is truly the programming languge of the future.

I 100% agree with that. The rest don't live up to JSP.

Sorry no experience with them.

Maybe you'd be better getting a dedicated server from 4webspace.com and installing Resin,Tomcat or Sun Java Web Server yourself.

I never used those! I had an account with Hospro.com they offer Servlets support but no JSP!!

you might want to check the following sites:

HosPx.com : their price is good, and offer Tomcat

Servlets.net : they are as good as HostPx.com, the only problem is that they don't use Tomcat! they use something else

wantjava.com : I don't know about them, but their prices are crazy!

check those and you maight find what you want

Try going to the adrenaline groups home page. They have a listing of JSP/Servlet hosting companies.

http://hosting.webpipe.net/ offers JSP....

I never hosted with them, but I did co-locate with them, and their tech support is pretty good.
