ecomdevel 04-25-2002, 12:06 AM I have been with webreseller for about a month, there quality of service is excellent. There prices are unbeatable. I chose them over rackshack because Rob the ceo was very quick and personal in handling my account. They are also using yipes as there bandwidth provider and yipes is connected to level3's backbone and in my opinion you cannot beat level3. I have 3 almost full cabinets in 2 different Level3 centers, and i have had 0 problems with them. This means for webreseller they have a pretty much 100% guaranteed network connection. You may be wondering why i am leasing a server with webreseller if i have access to cabinets at level3? Well for one it is for personal use and i will not mix up my personal servers with business, and two the price for the P4 1.6ghz was so cheap i could not resist. I recommend webreseller to all.
Good luck!
Thanks,
Ameen

Yep ...so far.....webreseller has been great....their support has answered everyone of my questions. :)
These new packages are even better..... if I was still looking I'd jump on them......real quick.
BiGWill 04-25-2002, 01:45 AM WOW!
IBM Servers at that price? definately HOT!
but what about the included Traffic of the Intel Packages?
it doesn't state anything ... but i suppose it's also 450 or even 500gig?!
greetz
webreseller 04-25-2002, 01:52 AM They include 450... :)
diederik 04-25-2002, 03:43 AM Yeah they're great. Just ordered one :)
Hope they can keep giving this service :D
The Laughing Cow 04-25-2002, 07:47 AM Sorry if this might be abit OT, I don't understand how webreseller have specials that are nearly twice the spec of the standard linux packages yet half the cost
Webreseller, I've sent you another pm - please reply it asap cause I'm ready to get a server from you, just confused whether to get the IBM or P4 servers and a few other issues to be clarified.
webreseller 04-25-2002, 09:18 AM Laughing,
They are simply specials and promotional rates also our regular packages contain SCSI HD's and 330's as opposed to the 300 which uses IDE... The last special was a special deal we got from IBM and pasted it along to customers.

Thanks for clearing that up. :)
They are great deals plain and simple...... and if I didn't have my server setup already I'd jump at them quickly before they are all gone. :)
pvaneyck 04-25-2002, 12:08 PM Ensim Question
Hi,
Did i'need to buy WebAppliance seperate or is that included with server version
The Ensim 3.0 Server Unlimited License (= that ServerXchange 3.0)
do i'need Webappliance for webmail etc..
Thanks
Yes WebAppliance is in there its part of Ensims' Administrator.
SquirrelMail WebEmail is what Enism uses....its rather nice....but you decide if you want its use given out for each domain(site)you host.
Hope that helps some....... :)
webreseller 04-25-2002, 12:28 PM You get the Server Exchange Version of WebApplicance included with your package and this does come with WebBased Email as ALS has said... :)
Need a sales job ALS.... ;)
pvaneyck 04-25-2002, 12:44 PM I just ordered the ibm pentium III box , can you send the invoice to belgium Webreseller
webreseller 04-25-2002, 12:46 PM The invoice will be emailed directly you right after the order... If not you will get an email statement tomorrow or Monday
TimPD 04-25-2002, 12:59 PM what is your ext web reseller? I'm on the phone now on hold to get ahold of Sales let me know I will talk directly to you.
webreseller 04-25-2002, 01:27 PM Ext 1 is for sales and service
tuncer 04-25-2002, 04:01 PM Just wanted to chime in here and say that Webreseller has been fantastic. We ordered a P4 box a few weeks ago and had it the next day. Trouble tickets (just basic configuration questions) were answered in minutes, not hours! Overall I'd highly recommend these folks.
Yesterday we launched our web site (www.macgamefiles.com) and it's running on the webreseller P4 box we bought. We're extremely impressed with the speed and reliability so far.
Tuncer
Same here tuncer ....support even for the smallest things has been impressive. :)
ckpeter 04-25-2002, 04:29 PM Webreseller, do you have a support website where client can submit trouble tickets AND view transfer usage?
How about remote reboot?
Also, with the ensim license, will I be able to uninstall and reinstall ensim by myself? That is, do I get some kind of license file?
Thanks,
Peter
pobox300 04-25-2002, 04:44 PM Any luck with Plesk or CPanel packages yet?
Ther only thing I never liked about Ensim is that you can't run CGI in your root directory like you can with Plesk and Cpanel, also Ensim makes it complicated to update PHP and other scripts. With Ensim it's always one level up. Some might think this is great for safety, but it's a pain in the ass if you have a fair number of CGI based scripts that then have to be edited to reflect this.
ckpeter I can tell you that they have a HelpDesk for support tickets and Live help via their website times and days for that are listed under the Live Help icon on their web site the bottom right of the first page.
You can reboot and or restart your server and other account features from inside your admin control panel......not sure about removing Ensim....I think they would have to do that for you......they told me in the past and this is for "pobox300" as well .....they can install CPanel....its just not supported and you would have to buy your own license which can be $79 to $99 per month extra billed from a CPanel reseller.
Plesk they say they are going to be adding that real soon.....how soon is real soon....webreseller will have to answer that one.
I might give Pleask a try myself......Ensim isn't all that bad......in fact I'm getting used to it......I was using CPanel most of the time before hand.
Also you can reboot....your server from inside your Customer Account Manager ........ if that is what a remote reboot is then yes.....?!?!?!?
If not then webreseller can you please inform me if there is.....
webreseller 04-25-2002, 05:18 PM You should have received that in your welcome letter. If not, please visit http://www.webreseller.net/support.htm
You can reboot your system through the control panel.
We are the only ones that can install it..

Not in my welcome letter webreseller......it only says in mine "don't call us we'll call you.....and don't think about posting anything".
Not sure what that all means.....but I'm a slow learner!?!?!?!?
webreseller 04-25-2002, 05:40 PM Where did you see that phrase:
Not in my welcome letter webreseller......it only says in mine "don't call us we'll call you.....and don't think about posting anything".
In a dream....no a nightmare some years ago.....just kidding webreseller.....hehe :)
webreseller congrats on your 100th post.....!!!!
webreseller 04-25-2002, 06:15 PM thank you... :) lol
Well keep up the good work and keep them new packages coming...... :)

I'd like to see you offering dual processor server with SCSI HD at less than $150/month :D
twrs I would to ....that would be a more then GREAT price... :)
boing 04-26-2002, 12:56 AM heh all that for less than $150/month
well if that was the case they would be swamped with orders!!
and a few from me.
Only if twrs was setting the price.... :)
Well, maybe we should make a poll about it and send the result to webreseller for consideration, what do you think? :D
I can't wait to get my hands on the P4 server I just ordered. I hope it could be setup today so I can play around with it during weekend
webreseller 04-26-2002, 01:31 AM Seeing what I can do boing............. :)

hmmm.....give me a server with dual processors, scsi drives and raid too. :)
All that for around that price range......what a sweet package that would make..............
webreseller 04-26-2002, 12:18 PM I wish we could do something like that
Me too.....you'll have people beating down your doors if that was the case.
But keep the good special coming.....
I guess those who didn't already order will have to wait until next week sometime....as these specials are all gone.
boing 04-26-2002, 06:01 PM when will more of the x series P3 servers be available?
keep the good specials coming...8)
Looks like they get more servers the middle of the week......they do have one P4 left....from looking at their web site for specials.
boing 04-26-2002, 06:10 PM yeah, only 1 P4 left, they all went really quickly.
not surprising with deals like these though.
I guess I will have to pounce on a P3 when they get some more.
These guys must be really busy, yet webreseller seems to still answer all questions really promptly.
Good service and support makes all the difference in my book.
Can't wait for ensim3.1 now.
Yep....they a re real good deals.....I like the x300 packages...if I didn't have a package already...I would went for that one. When I signed up all they had in specials was the $300per month IBM package. Alittle much for me .... at this time.....but in a few months if things work out with webreseller ....i'll be grabbing a couple more of them specials....at once.
boing 04-28-2002, 03:45 AM finally ready to grab a p3 server, Webreseller can you answer my PM
8)
boing 04-28-2002, 11:13 AM just got a P3 one.
8)
boing 04-28-2002, 11:06 PM how much of a difference would 1 gig RAM make over 512 meg in day to day use?
Unless you're using lots of database access (MySQL), I think the differences between 512 MB and 1 GB wouldn't be significant.
WALoeIII 04-29-2002, 04:17 AM I'm going to have to add my vote in for webreseller.net's support.
I've asked questions all weekend and all weekend I've gotten responses within only a few hours.
Thanks Jon!
boing 04-29-2002, 09:31 AM Thanks for that twrs. Decisions, decisions...
I have to concur with Snoozy, I was pestering webreseller all weekend and he kept answering...
I was beginning to wonder if he slept at all. Given that I am in AU and he seemed to be awake whenever I asked any questions.
I am very pleased with the amount of support I have received thus far.
Kudos to webreseller.
another satisified customer.:D
webreseller 05-01-2002, 10:35 AM Plesk will be here in 7 days, there will only be 20 systems to start with and they will be great deals..
Ok ....... great....... send(pm or email) me a price or post it here....if you could. :)
boing 05-07-2002, 10:27 AM webreseller.net have 25 more of the P3 and 15 of the P4 servers listed as available!
at last I can finally get my dedicated boxen!!:stickout
I'm curious when will they release the Plesk servers. It's been weeks.
