I thought that I had restore my RaQ3is with RaQ4r Restore software. However, now when I try, it does not work. Have I suffered a brain freeze or is there something else wrong here? I am having to use RaQ4i restore software.

Does your RaQ 3 have two hard disks? The RaQ 4r has two hard disks (for RAID), maybe the setup is expecting it.

If you have a 3i, use the 4i restore.

If you have a 3i and add an additional HD on the other IDE interface, then you can use the 4r restore.

The 4r won't work on the stock 3i hardware, nor should it.

If there is only one IDE interface, can I use an IDE cable with multiple ends?

I was told that if I installed the extra hd, then I could use the 4r software. However, it sounds like that I must have the double IDE terminal on the motherboard.

Sorry, you have to have dual IDE.
