your registrar should be able to tell you. you can also file a complaint with the registrar of anyone that is pointed to you that you don't want. the registrar has to repoint them somewhere else if you can prove you own the parent domain of the nameserver.

Frankly, I don't see a reason to use a nameserver which will be not authoritative for your domain. It simply will have no clue about domain and point the request nowhere...

Hi netlynx,
Imho, it is not very easy to find out which domains are using your nameservers unless you can get an updated copy of dns record information from your ISP, daily, and with comparison figure out which domain names are using your nameserver or IP address. (a very complex procedure which is not recommended at all.)
You may consider designing a system that works like http referrer tracker and lists all domains visiting your website. Obviously, if someone is using your nameserver then your concern shows these domains can get a page from your server possibly a PPC page. You can later whois domains that visited your website and got noticed on the tracking system.

www.webhosting.info can tell you. It's not perfect but it's pretty good.

Still, I can't understand anybody using somebody's else nameservers.
If I buy a domain and use a nameservers of a company which has nothing to do with this domain and their DNSes aren't configured to serve for my new domain - what EXACTLY I'll get then? Completely not working setup? Yes...

I would follow virginia's recommendation, webhosting.info is a good resource(although not 100% accurate)

I don't believe this to be true at all. The registrar cannot tell you everything since they would only have access to the records of their own domains. You would need the registry's assistance in most cases. Also, they won't go and change someone else's DNS without their authorization.

the only way is to download each registry zonefile and start grep'ing for your nameserver toward those files.
