I have a few questions about rackshack.(I know, I should probably email sales, but I like WHT better).

When you receive your CP from rackshack, do you get a license? That is, can you move the license around? for example, uninstall on the rackshack box, and use it on an off-network server(or another rackshack whitebox for that matter)?

Also, while I am at it, does ensim uses its own custom kernel? or can I upgrade the kernel on my own? What about plesk?

The CP license on your server belongs to Rackshack and can’t be moved to another server.

Neither Ensim or Plesk uses it’s own custom kernel.

Do you at least get the license? I am thinking about the possiblity of installing the CP into a virtual server(which would be on the original rackshack server).

The license is located on the server, and can be accessed from within Ensim itself (I saved a copy on my server in case I had changed my mind about removing it, which I didn't).
