I`ve just finished up a site for a client. Originally the plan was I would manage the site for him, take care of changes etc.

He has since expressed an interest in making minor changes himself. Problem is the guy is over 3000miles away, so tutoring would be difficult!!

He knows nothing about websites, html and ftp software. I was going to draw up a brief tutorial but to be honest I`m not very good at that kind of stuff, and my effort was not user friendly!

Can anyone suggest some tutorials that can help my client? Nothing too heavy, he doesn`t want to know about div id`s, css, javascript quite yet! Just about editing the textual content, how to ftp a website, editors etc. All basic stuff for most of us, but to someone who has never done it before:agree:

not a bad place to get started... ftp won't be hard to teach him, just go with something simple like cuteftp and teach him the basics of logging in and uploading

I think w3schools.com can be also helpful to him.

I'd like to recommend w3schools.com too.
