Godaddy.com is back to life ! :)
But there's one think that keeps laughing me :
After the downtime of their website , they announced on the top of the page :
Free Hosting! ( ad-supported) with every domain !
If godaddy is planning to promote their hosting service , then I don't think it's the right time , because god damn it !!! They just recovered from a downtime !
What reputation will godaddy get after this issue , and let's not forget the large number of complaints about godaddy's hosting here at wht .

Crikey, they're offerring 20GB disk space and 1,000GB data transfer/mth for $3.95/mth.
I'm thinkin' someone made a typo there. :D :eek3:

Ad supported? Kinda lame. I can imagine having thousands of godaddy ads on your free website.

The wording is a bit sneaky. Click on the link, and you find that the set of plans that goes "From $3.95/month" is 5 GB disk space and 250 GB bandwidth for the $3.95/month. The one that is "Up to 20 GB disk space" and "Up to 1,000 GB bandwidth" costs $19.95/month.
Those are pretty good amounts. It looks like a ten-fold increase from the last previous time I looked at it, and it's a hundred-fold increase from when I first started my $3.95/month hosting account.
How do they do it? I think the catch is that the economy plans are kind of lean on features. It will work well with a simple site like mine, but the chances of finding a use for so much storage and bandwidth with a simple site are low. People who are more likely to use close to those quantities probably have sites that require more features and services, and those cost more.
As for the outage, I don't constantly monitor my site, so I don't know. On spot checks it has always worked for me.

I think there is room to add a little more, but not much.
