For those seeking a dedicated full time employee:

Hello, my name is Steven H. Clarke. Basically, I am writing in hopes that a hosting company seeking a dedicated support tech and/or a customer relations specialist will find this thread. I have been involved in the hosting industry for several years now and I have a great deal of experience when it comes to customer relations and technical support.

I have considered reentering the hosting industry by launching another hosting venture many times (which can be seen in this thread earlier this year - http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=403980 ), but I have decided that I would prefer to acquire a position in a growing or already stable hosting company to help improve the quality of service provided.

Ideally, I would like to obtain a telecommuting position but being very flexible I am also open to positions that may be located upstate New York near Syracuse. I prefer a remote position as I commute often between Syracuse, Utica, and NYC. I am willing to stay in one of the upstate locations though if a position is acquired in the area.

As far as my hours of availability are concerned…Anytime is your time – day time, evening time, and even late/overnight shifts. I am currently a student working on a dual B.A. in English/Spanish, but I have the ability to schedule classes around work. I am flexible with compensation, but I am looking for a steady hourly job.

My resume & references are available upon request. :)

I may be contacted via any of the methods listed below at any time:

Where are you exactly located? how often do you commute to NYC? I am asking because Syracuse/Utica and NYC is ~240 miles commute each way.

:) Tell me about it, its quite a commute. I live in Queens (NYC), but currently spend most of the year up in Syracuse. I'm in the city often though. Three and a half hour drive with the radar on...as long as I don't hit traffic passing by Manhattan and the Bronx.

Yes, and closer to a 6 hours drive if you drive within the legal speed limits set by the State of New York. ;)
