I'm looking at 4webspace.com, and am wondering how much CGI these things can handle? I've got a site with an UltraBoard 2000 (ub2k.com) forum, with 1500 members and growing...

Can a RAQ3 with 256MB handle that?

Thanks!

Yeap with so much ram it wont be a problem. Providing u dont have lots of other highly used cgi scripts.

I think you should be fine with that much RAM and a kick ass forum :) As long thats all your gonna host on the Raq.

We host a raq3 with 256mb ram, while we dont run a kick ass forum, we do have about 7 really popular sites that run with php and mysql and cgi, and theirs never a slow down that we've been made aware of. The processor still chunks along at around 0.11 to 0.25 at 27 degrees C.

The 2 of the more popular ones get most of their hits at night when the students are at home playing on the site, we have checked the one most popular and on their home page it tells us that their is like 65 members logged on, and 72 visitors.

In any event, you'd be suprised what these raq's can do.
