Just wanted to tell you guys how impressive this application is and help them build a strong community so we can get some nice mods/templates for it. Any of you that are running asp.net should download the free version and check it out. You can get it at http://communityserver.org It is so much better than any other forums/boards software plus it has blogs gallery built right in and it's very fast. Make sure you download the 2.0 beta as the previous versions are definitely lacking in compairison.

i can't never get past the install. by far it's the hardest web app that i can't get pass install.

make sure you do windows authentication, beta is bugged for sql authentication

Just an update, they are on version 4.x now and this has come to be a very stable and robust platform.

This thread has been reopened after a long time. Community Server is indeed a great software with a combination of Blogs, Forums, Gallery, Downloads etc. Most of the windows hosting providers provide one click installation for CS through the control panel.
