I see that my post – “Many decisions to make on what I should do” wasn’t very clear – so I will try to correct that .

Some people have said it would be better to have

(1) my own Affiliate directory on the Internet – other people suggest

(2) It would be best to join a few “Good” programs & promote them
on my website ?

By (1) I mean – joining ANY & ALL Affiliate programs & listing all
of there links on my website – as a sort of reference that people can
look up & when they made a purchase through my website I would
“hopefully” get a commission .

By (2) I mean – if I was to join a select few Affiliate programs
& promote those on my website I would “hopefully” get a commission .

There is a (3) third idea that was also mentioned to me (which by the way I see it could be a mixture of (1) & (2) .

That is – selecting a specific area – then putting the links of the
programs I joined onto my website .

Take a look at ABestWeb...they are a great affiliate forum site.

But, bottom line is if you want to make sales you need traffic and targeted traffic is always better ;-)
