sites per customer :D

Umm I guess the answer would be one domain per customer with the exception of resellers and a few that want other domains pointed to the main domain.

I'm not sure if thats what you are looking for?

I have several with multiple domains. Generally a user will signup and test the waters, so to speak, but I'd say at least 50% sign up for multiple accounts.

At the time of this posting.... the numbers divide out to be:

4.4238717840574 domains per client.

All of them?

No hard numbers but it is not uncommon at all to host "more than 1" for customers, not at all uncommon.

The reason I'm asking this question is that I'm currently deciding wether to go with Ensim Webppliance or Plesk.

I heard site owners can't add extra domains to their account in Webplliance 3.0, but they can in Plesk. So I'm a little confused. :rolleyes:

Although averages can be very deceiving...here are some

Retail customers....average 1.4 domains per customer...but the vast majority only host one....brought up by those who host many

Resellers....average reseller has 129 domains.

But do anyone of you have any suggestions on how to allow site administrators in Ensim host multiple domains? This must be able to do in some way, mustn't it?

there is not a way in Webppliance 3.0but there are rumors is will be available with 3.1. I personally like Ensim better than Plesk but I would say the major difference is usually with Ensim you get unlimited domains with your key where as with Plesk it is usually 200 domain limit and then an upgrade to unlmited it kind of expensive. So basically if you are going to be offering reseller plans you should get Plesk with the unlimited license, I use Ensim due to the fact I like the CP alot better and it comes with the unlmited license and I do not sell reseller plans.
