I was thinking of a solution the other day, and relized that dedicated servers, are too expensive (in most cases) when somone is only using it for the disk space. Would offering a dedicated hosting package (Bandwith and Space) be good to host on a shared hosting server? In other words, would letting the customer have a certain amount of space and bandwith they would like be a good idea to host on a Shared Hosting Server?

You may need to clarify your question...so it makes sense...

I believe he is asking if it is wise to host people on a shared hosting server. If you are using a reseller, that would work but I dont think it is wise to use a shared hosting account to host people.

I don't get what you mean exactly, but if your hosting account/server has a WHM (or other similar software) then it will be okay to host shared clients on it.
