hi everyone,
just wondering, what is the deal with davessite.co.uk and .com!
they are not even real sites,
what do you call these kind of sites and how do u find out when they wil expire??

Why not just send them an email? I recently sold a name to someone who contacted me and made me an offer to sell. It seemed to work well in that instance.

What do you mean, not real sites?
davessite.com appears to be parked - it may be parked for future use, it may be parked because the domain is used for other purposes (such as email only).
davessite.co.uk, on the other hand, looks like an entirely normal web site to me!
Sites don't have to be meaningful to the wider world to be real sites. The guy is keeping some of his private photo collection on his personal web space - why shouldn't he? The photos have probably been put there for his friends and family to see - much easier to send links than to email photos as bulky attachments. There may even be additional content there that is hidden from strangers - friends of mine have all their family newsletters on their web site, in a password-protected folder accessible only to their nearest and dearest.
