Second...a chicken is a female bird. Yet Chicken is a male. Why is Chicken not a rooster?

Thank you for the free suds... very refreshing after a long day of herding my goats.

Chicken is, of course, a notable world leader amongst the growing Transvestite Barnyard Fowl Movement (TBFM); hence the trans-gender nomenclature of his nom de plume.

I thought everyone knew this.

He is the presdient of all CHICKENS so therefor he gets that name, What about BC, what does that stand for?

CRego3D

It stands for Before Chicken

He was the messenger that brought the word that poultry was going to be the next big thing in this forum

BC

Carlos is correct. I arrived on the forum earlier than Chicken; thus it stands for 'Before Chicken'. :D

That however doesn't explain why his post count is about 400 higher than mine! :bawling: ;)

Last I knew, it was eggs came before chickens.

Hmmm...

First, I'd like to thank you for the shock I received while cashing in my free monitor licking. Woke me up quite well.

Second, although I am aware of the confusion of being a male Chicken, I just like the word 'chicken' better than 'rooster'. I guess I always lumped all of them under the heading chicken although it isn't quite correct (at all). Go figure.

Actually, I was under the impression that a female version of Colonel Sanders favourite member of the animal kingdom was called a 'hen', with a male being a 'rooster'...

A Chicken is, I think, a juvenile version of the species, regardless of the plumbing...

Noooo, Spider John.

You have succeeded admirably in what you set out to achieve with this thread, unlike a number of other threads at WHT.

I suppose using the word 'memorable' may be stretching things a little, but it is certainly a benchmark in the level of....(help required etLux...) *esotericity* that makes up the rich tapestry of events here at WHT.

Well done Junior Guru. You made history.

etLux,

Yes, you're probably right, although with my own background in the equally 'abstruse' but not 'obscure' world of entertainment, issues surrounding transvestites and chickens were quite common, but still presented as exotic, and in some cases, with some people, mysterious...

Chicken,

I assume you mean a non-smoker and not a transvestite or a chicken, not that there's anything wrong with chickens, of course.

(anybody got anything to say about the other?? heh heh)

Well, it's been 15 hours and around 30 mins, and I'm not feeling particularly brave right now. A bit twitchy you might say.

In the clarity brought on from nicotine deprivation, it just occurred to me that any innocent person who does a search for a particular web host's threads and posts, might come across these ramblings. Not good.

This is an honored Australian traditional activity. It is said that all Australian males engage in this.

To dismiss people from the right of backend fiddling would perhaps be a violation of civil rights.

Take caution in your disparagement of this, Chicken.

Backend fiddling, transvestites and *chickens* are ALL in the same genre (yes etLux, there is an art to it)

Although I guess you must be relieved that you've been able to 'come out' eh? Your best bet would be to shut this down before it attracts too many of those  who are generally prohibited in our various 'Terms of Service' and 'Acceptable Use Policy' agreements.
