.info urls aren't worth that much at all... especially no $300. And as for: 7im.com going for $4,000 - how? What is so special about it? O_o That's insane, and whoever paid that much is a fool.

Make a lower bid then. :) I'm not a domain expert, I just wanted to buy a really cool DVD player, so eh, 300 looked good. :)

7im.com is an easy to remember 3 letter domain. It is for some UK ivestment firm. Seven Investment Management or something.

Good domains Kronos. What I don't understand is, why do you guys free-ride on another person's thread? Open a new thread to sell your domains. This way perhaps you can stick to the rules: 1 ad per 5 days.

As for the 7im.com selling for $4k, I can't dispute it but I'd take it with a pinch of salt. Otherwise tell me the secret as I have at least 40 3-char .COMs. :D

That's the only way I've ever gotten any kind of decent money for a domain. If you're just going to put an ad on eBay or somewhere, forget it.

Generally we don't permit this, however with domains, we have in the past due to the personal nature of domains (people either like the name or not, thus they are generally interested in a particular name).

Martie (I think) started one of these before and it turned out pretty good. If I recall, many of the people in the 'mega-domain-sale' thread sold domains, not just the thread starter and not just the others.

If anyone has a problem with this, they can request that their thread only contain their domains and the rest will be split off into a new thread (not a biggie to me either way).

Ohhh and some nice domains all around...
