I'm currently leaving ***** for a new host but I need a second host to host my vbulletin for a month or so untill my new host can figure out how to get php running.
I don't need a new domain. Do I just say that I'm transfering a domain? I think it will still give me an IP right?

hey,
most hosts would consider you to be a spammer... but maybe you could email VO directly and ask them...

 I think you are going to have alot bigger problems if it is going to take your host a month or so to figure out how to get PHP running. You should be able to get a static IP as long as the hosting company provides one.. This is something you would have to check with them about. Then you could just refer people to your IP.

Really? I thought spamers were people who sent out mass emails and needed a host for the sole purpose of doing that. I just need someone to host my web forums for 1 month.

so that their identities can't be found by getting the whois information for the domain. So some hosts have become suspicious of such requests. But if you explain your legitimate reason for wanting it, they might set it up.

You should just ask VO to set you with a subdomain - I'm sure they can do that.

By the way does anybody know how to install php? Is it difficult? I'm going to help my host (also my friend) to do it.

Hey, if I can do it, anyone can! :)
And I'm going to be moving my last remaining Aletia domain to www.insiderhosting.com the beginning of May. I will be getting an assigned IP and setting everything up there, then I will switch the DNS. So, yes, certain companies will do it for you, if you ask.
