I know alot of companies startup and spend alot on marketing exclusivly through adwords. What was your method and how did it work out for you? Rasher 11-24-2005, 12:44 AM I'm not marketing anything, just curious as to what most people do, and how they go about doing it. dotcomguy01 11-24-2005, 01:24 AM most hosting companies use traditional methods such as - PPC programs including Yahoo & Adwords. - SEO - Banner advertising - Text link advertising (sometimes in connection with an SEO campaign) - Popunder traffic - Expired Domain Traffic - WHT signature ads (sometimes called forum seeding) - Guerilla marketing such as a cihost.com paying the general public to tattoo the companies logo on fists and one case I read about the guy shaved his head with a big cihost logo.
