I need to have FP2002 installed before the end of tomorrow on a raq4r but can't seem to get it working, can someone help me ??

2002 - ohh, I would stick with 2000.

FP2002 extensions do not work on RaQs. There has been a discussion about this, with the typical fingerpointing. Sun/Cobalt says it is MS fault, MS says it is Linux's fault, etc.

The bottom line is that you can only use FP2000 or FP98.

You can use FP2002 without a problem although not all the features will work.

How? I tried it and even generated a discussion on it on other forums and no one that replied to the discussion could ever get it to work.

This was a big negative for us. If you can get it working, then please let me know how so that I can get my FP2002 up and working.

I was told that there was a security issue in that when the FP2002 server extensions were generated, there was a conflict due to out-of-date compiler (?) being used. I will try to see if I can find that info and post it here.

He's not talking about installing the 2002 extensions, he means you can use FP2002 on a server with 2000 extensions, but not all of the new 2002 features will work.

Someone on the cobalt-users list reported success earlier this year compiling and installing the extensions on their own, you might want to search the archives.
