How does one transfer the ownership of a domain that is registered via an OpenSRS reseller?

I'm talking about fully and legally transfering the ownership of the domain not just changing the admin details etc...

I thought the legal way was to give the seller your username and password ? Then they would change everything to their details. I thought all along this was the beauty of opensrs :)

You can either give the new owner the username and password of your existing profile, or move the domain into a new profile using the Domain Manager.

Once you have changed the domain ownership information in the domain record and surrended the domain's password, it's gone. You don't own it any more...
