USA vs Australia... Arch-rivals in sport (I see that on TV all the time) especially when the olympics or the world championships come on...

I can't edit the poll, so I can't add canada to the list... The poll was supposed to be continents, North America and South America (together), Australasia, Asia and Europe... But I kinda typed too fast and thought too little...

Isn't Canada part of North America or is my geography that bad?

Its just that ever since I got to this country and people ask me where I'm from and I tell them Canada they say "Huh? Is that near China?".. Three times and counting I got that same statement. :rolleyes:

He did for me. Just PM him the post and what you want changed, he should do it.

I heard that Canada is either rainy or snowy this time of year. Melbourne is getting colder, but nothing too unbearable just yet

Hehe... depends what you mean by sport. There are only three:
- football (for some strange reason a certain people say soccer)
- ice-hockey (the best team didn't reach the finals in SLC btw)
- handball (wow!)

I was actually thinking mainly swimming and athletics... at the olympics.

Football can be confused for Aussie Rules, GridIron, Rugby or Soccer, so I tend to use one of the above instead of "Football" in general...

Never heard of an ice-hockey team from Aust, but I recall Aust coming last in handball in the last olympics (i think)...
