Yep. Seem, felt, and heard too many instances of them not to believe.

I blame my grandmother. According to my mother she was the same way (seeing hearing and feeling). Quite a powerful woman in regard to that sort of thing. The moment she died, a lot of her children were around a table a few miles away and saw the back door of the house blown off it's hinges before a cold wind blasted through the house (summer). She's reported to have died on the table giving birth to my mother and saw herself from above before being dragged back into her body.

I could tell you stories. :)

Do you know Stephen King? That sounds like a best seller to me. Gave me chills reading it. I, too, believe. I also have seen and heard too many things to believe otherwise. I know of a close family friend that was home when a picture fell off the wall. The person in that picture died at that exact moment. The same person also had another picture fall off of a countertop a different time and the same result. In that instance, the picture frame was nowhere near the edge of the counter.

Sort of and sort of not - don't know how to explain it

Uh... why are there three choices in the poll? What's the difference between "no" and "don't believe in them?"

That's what I was wondering... I guess he didn't notice until it was too late.

Do you mean ghost like spirit being? Or just ghost in ghostbusters? :)

I'm going to say this:
There is engergy out there, be it good or bad, and it becomes whatever we make of it. Humans ARE energy, so when someone dies, there is goin to energy left behind. I have had experiences, yes, I have lost many friends, and yes I have seen and heard things. It is a very big universe out there, and there are things we just won't understand until it is necessary.

P.S. I have stories too.

certainly do. but youhave to experience em to believe em. and after opening a hotel door at 2 am to find half an army walking past my door (circa 1400s) i kinda revised my opinions on ghosts. it was a moorland hotel and i found out later it had been on the site of a battle.

LOL it's not like we believe that there are ghosts that walk around looking like normal people or something - I think (?) that we are talking about like spirits.

It's not that I don't believe in ghost... I want to believe in Ghost - I want to know that they are there - it would be extraordinary!

scientifically tho, I don't think ghosts (or you may call them spirits) exist in forms of living humans being able to see them. For example, for a dead spirit to retain the same bodily composure as they are witnessed by living humans seem ridiculous!

and also :D I found it funny how ghosts are introduced to kids (well at least to me it was) as things that are supposed to catch you and scare the crap out of you or whatever. Now, I don't understand why spirits/ghosts would scare anyone - I doubt their intent is to come from under some kids bed to scare them or stay hidden inside someone's closet until they go to bed before jumping out from the closet. (hmmm, kinda sounds like Monsters Inc, lol!)

This is hilarious,
i love the turns this thing is taking, I mean, come o, can you get any better variety than telling someone to lay off the booze to a very proper (No offense, Mr. Hwang) and textbookish dissection of the topic? Anyway, how did you make the poll graph is what i want to know?.
Well, adios.

I'd prefer to call them spirits rather than ghosts, same stuff different pile I suppose. I've witnessed some pretty strange things in my life.

I'd say I would have to be among those that believe, i've only had glimpses here and there, nothing typical but yet nothing exciting or special, but there are times, when by god i swear someone is in the room with me, could be atributed to a vivid imigination as i goto sleep or something else, but its that feeling when your alone in the room and someone walks in but you didn't see or hear them you know that they are there, and you turn and look and usually they are there, for me, they never appear
