Hopefully this is the best place for a question of this nature.

I've got a test server sitting at home that I'd like to set up a dynamic dns updater with, similar to hosts like no-ip.org, etc, but I would love to host a script that could update one of my own name servers when the ip address changes. I know that I would need to have some type of script run on the server itself, to phone home to the dns server, but I haven't found any ones that I can install on my own servers (home as well as nameservers at work)

Does anyone have a suggestion for this home-brew challenge?

GnuDIP2 comes to mind.

ProutDNS would be another.

I think there are more. Search freshmeat.
