What you do if your "registrar" or "partner" stop paying you your comissions for the domains you sell?
![]() | View Full Version : Question for resellers and affiliates Newz 04-22-2002, 01:20 PM What you do if your "registrar" or "partner" stop paying you your comissions for the domains you sell? Kru 04-22-2002, 02:51 PM Did they give you a reason why they quit paying you or are they just avoiding your calls/emails? Newz 04-22-2002, 03:02 PM Both. They stop paying me and are avoiding my emails. Kru 04-22-2002, 03:33 PM Man, I would be  too!! I know this is going to sound like a retarded question, but do you have a written contract? If so, why not fax them a nice letter stating that you need your commission and if you dont get it, you will have to go through proper legal channels to get it. Are we talking about a great deal of money? The unfortunate thing is that if it would cost more to fight about it, then it isnt worth it. Can you reveal who they are so that other people are aware? Newz 04-22-2002, 04:45 PM I think the major problem are my clients. First I need to find another registrar to do business then redesign my site and after I must ask my clients to transfer their domains from me to me. It's quite strange. No I haven't a write contract. I signed online. Who are they? Itsyourdomain.com Thank you for your interest - Newz IYD 05-31-2002, 01:02 PM I am the director of tech support for ItsYourDomain. Your post was pointed out to me. I should note that even though you signed up online, both you and we are bound by the Affiliate Terms of Service- it is the same as a written contract. I'll be happy to look into any issues- please email me directly at sully@itsyourdomain.com. We pay our affiliates promptly, and we never duck emails... Chicken 05-31-2002, 09:50 PM In the future, you can email the person directly (instread of reviving an old thread), as they probably aren't keeping up with this issue anymore. |
