After ordering Storefront from Lagarde in March of 2005, I soon realized after initial correspondance with Lagarde that the product would not work with what I was trying to do. I immediately & properly canceled my order. Despite a 30 day moneyback guarantee & return of an unopened box of their product, I still have not received half of what was paid. What also was wrong is that Lagarde proceeded with withdrawing the remainder of the order from my account after I had cancelled the order. I have tried contacting Lagarde several times regarding this issue & they have not proceeded with any type of refund procedure to date (November 2005). I don't know what to do except to warn other people about this company. LAGARDE DOES NOT HONOR THEIR REFUND POLICY. I don't understand why this happened but maybe if anyone from Lagarde participates in this forum they could look into it.

Most money back guarantees require some action from you in order to receive the refund. Like submitting a form. Or sending them a letter, or whatever. Don't just assume they will volunteer it because you canceled within the timeframe. They won't. Most won't.
Read the TOS and guarantee very carefully. If the don't outline a procedure, send their sales department an email. YOu needn't volunteer that you have already canceled or are even a customer. Just find out the procedure. Then send them a hardcopy request in addition to whatever they tell you. NO need for emotion, just give the facts.

I filled out & submitted a PDF form that they finally sent me in May 2005, Lagarde refunded my initial deposit several months later but not the remainder of the money they withdrew from my account. It is a sizable amount. Again I have contacted Lagarde several times since only to get the run-around or a department that does not respond to any emails & I have not sent any emotional emails, just requests and letting them know what happened. They are not adhering to their refund policy & as far as i'm concerned they stole my money. I am not posting here to be malicious, just exhausted my means at Lagarde who does not respond so I would like to inform this forum of my experience with Lagarde.

Yea, we used a Storefront.net solution a while back...it was horrible...customer support we had to pay additional fees for etc...we eventually dumped them and went with a more custom solution.

Yeah... we're not too crazy about their support either. 30 days is just not enough for any storefront owner to get their questions answered IMO.
