Qwest CyberCenter's
Anyone located inside one of these places, or heard anything good or bad about them? I'm considering the one located near Philadelphia Pa.
Thanks

i was looking at meridian telesis & switch and data for when i was looking at the $3000 cogent 100mbit, and renting a rack from one of them, the pricing was very very high, especially for starting out. i'm from outside of PA as well, Drexel Hill, and Logic Solutions ended up going with a company in Bethlehem, PA, which is 1h30mins away. we've received the contracts, sent to the lawyers for review, and should be up by the end of the month with a 21U rack. PM or email me if you want more information

We managed a group of about 100 servers in Qwest Burbank and it was hot and dirty on the data center floor. They where also using real low dollar low end switches at that time. From what I hear they moved over to Cisco Cat's now.
I would rate them a 6 out of 10. Try WorldCom or Level3. Both of them are A+++!

My company uses Qwest for the webhosting portion of our business (over 10 million sales annually) and we've had NOTHING but problems with them. Multiple outages per month--non-existant support, claims of hardware issues on our end (when a simple tracert shows packets dying on their doorstep).
I strongly urge you to reconsider Qwest. We're getting out of our contract (at a steep penalty) but the service from Qwest gave us absolutely no other option. Please don't make the same mistake we did.

If the service is so poor you are losing lots of business you can just fire them and not have to pay ANY penalties. Just make sure you have proof that they suck (it's not hard!!!)

I definately recommend you at least tour Inflow. We're there and they're the best.
