Jedito 04-21-2002, 08:20 PM If you don't mind to use a WebBased system, take a look to http://www.phplivesupport.com/ And I saw this a week ago, http://www.clickchatsold.com/ JaysonH 04-21-2002, 08:24 PM I will check those out. The only problem I had with livesupport is it wouldnt let me connect to there server. Paul-UKWSD 04-21-2002, 08:46 PM Try these: http://www.realtimeaide.com/home.htm Jedito 04-21-2002, 08:59 PM Originally posted by Paul-ukhost Try these: http://www.realtimeaide.com/home.htm I used it, but I prefer phplivesupport.com. JaysonH 04-21-2002, 09:02 PM I'll check them out. Does anyone know of any others? Martie 04-21-2002, 09:07 PM I remember conversations in the past about this and here are several threads with alternatives http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=345009&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending Maniac 04-21-2002, 09:39 PM Check out www.livehelper.com NexDog 04-22-2002, 02:38 AM The most powerful (and expensive) is http://groopz.com You can actually spring the chat box on unsuspecting clients. :D I didn't find it compatible with our system, in fact it almost killed a low powered pc I had. But Rackspace and Dialtone use it and it must be great for sales. iamdave 04-22-2002, 10:43 PM Originally posted by NexDog The most powerful (and expensive) is http://groopz.com You can actually spring the chat box on unsuspecting clients. :D I didn't find it compatible with our system, in fact it almost killed a low powered pc I had. It has the "want to chat feature" real time monitoring, canned messages, html, images, everything. Just no cusotmizable pics, but what do you want? It's FREE! padders 04-23-2002, 10:38 AM Originally posted by iamdave It may be expensive, however clickchatsold has the same features. It uses their servers for all the server side work so i doubt it is going to remain free for long. iamdave 04-23-2002, 09:16 PM Originally posted by padders It is now but doubt it will be for long. They can make money by selling the code. THey already offer a paid service in which the webhost can run the program off of their own server. SO you never know. Chicken 04-24-2002, 12:56 AM Originally posted by NexDog The most powerful (and expensive) is http://groopz.com In my experience, the company is poor to fair supporting their products. Reported bugs are never fixed and products are rarely updated. Digichat is a product made by the same people and although there are a couple of people there who are helpful, it is a trick to get them at the right time, as many of them seem uninterested after the sale (my impression). padders 04-24-2002, 03:29 AM Originally posted by iamdave IT may be it may not be...however, you do not know if it will or not. I never said it definitely will but generally free things don't last long. Humanclick started free and didn't last long. peachtreewebworks 04-25-2002, 01:19 PM Anyone been able to sign up or download from clickchatsold.com in the past week? I've been trying and either get a message that the server is down, or nothing happens :( globe 04-25-2002, 05:24 PM We've bought it one month ago, we find it very slow. Sometimes customers leave before our answer shows up. What do you think about gabriel 04-26-2002, 12:56 AM I have installed Clickchatsold.com and depending of your connection IPīs work. For example, if I connect with one ISP work fine, but if I connect with other IP not is working (Server down message).... jarguar 04-28-2002, 11:54 PM Check this out. I haven't tried it, but seems to be good. Jedito 04-29-2002, 08:52 AM Originally posted by jarguar Check this out. I haven't tried it, but seems to be good. URL? jarguar 04-29-2002, 09:29 AM outch! I forgot the URL  Here it is!: http://www.kayako.com Have checked the demo, but I prefer phpLiveSupport WebmastTroy 04-29-2002, 10:12 PM ClickChatSold looks like a really good program. I didn't have any problems inserting the code into my site, registering, or downloading the software....plus, its FREE! It looks like a REALLY good program so far. I tried Groopz. It was a pretty good program, except I needed something that was free. They provide you with a short demo, but its only 15 days (I think). |
