I've looked almost everywhere for an answer to this. Is softicom.net a good host? For only $99 a year you can get their gold plus plan which includes 250MB of space and unlimited traffic. Their site seems professional enough, although there are some spelling errors.

I wouldn't call they are professional by looking at 'unlimited traffic'.

It looks like their bandwidth provider is a company in Poland called "Internet Cable Provider" (http://www.icpnet.pl). I don't know if Internet Cable Provider is a cable modem ISP or what (their website is in Polish). It also looks like softicom is using centralinfo.net for DNS and PayPal for payment.

As for the testimonials from "Happy Customers," they ripped those off from http://www.easyspace.com/support/client_comments.html (although softicom simply says "Happy Customers," and doesn't specify *whose* customers they are :) ).

So although I don't have any firsthand experience with softicom, I'd say there's a few too many red flags.
